01A random name picker wheel that does every job
Random Picker Wheel
02Three steps to spin the wheel and pick a winner
Simple workflow
Yes. Each spin uses your browser's cryptographically secure random generator, so every entry has an equal chance of being picked regardless of its position or slice size. The result is decided fresh each time, so in Keep mode the same name can occasionally come up more than once across several spins.
How do I use the random name picker wheel?
Paste or type your names or options into the box, one per line, and the wheel builds instantly. Press Spin (or Spacebar, or click the wheel) and the pointer lands on a random winner. Choose Keep mode to keep every entry, or Eliminate mode to remove each winner and draw a full running order.
How do I remove a winner after spinning?
Turn on the 'Remove winner after spin' toggle, or switch to Eliminate mode, and each drawn name is taken off the wheel automatically so it is never picked twice. Drawn names are logged in the results list in the order selected, and Reset clears the board for a fresh draw.
How many names can I add to the wheel?
You can add as many entries as you like. For the cleanest, most readable wheel we recommend around 100 entries or fewer, since very long lists still spin fairly but the slices get harder to read on screen. Classroom rosters, raffle lists, and team lists all fit comfortably.
Is it free, and do I need to sign up?
Yes, it is completely free with no sign-up, no account, and no download. It runs entirely in your browser, the names you enter stay on your device and are never uploaded, and you can run unlimited draws as often as you need.
Can I use the wheel for giveaways, raffles, teams, or the classroom?
Absolutely. Paste your entrant or student list and spin to pick a fair winner, use multi-winner spins to draw several at once, or use Eliminate mode to give everyone a turn before any repeats. You can copy a share link to reopen the exact wheel, and export results as CSV.
